The Haunting

It's 1 AM, and you are still struggling to fall asleep. Your brain can't stop thinking about earlier tonight, when you and your friend tried to contact your recently deceased father with a Oujia board. You toss and turn trying to get comfortable, until you just decide to sit up. As you stare into the darkness, you keep re-playing the events that unfolded earlier tonight. The sight of the Oujia board levitating and being thrown against a wall is branded into your brain. You reassure yourself that the supernatural isn't real and... [[Get a drink of water.]] [[Lay back down.]] [[References]]

You get out of bed and walk out of the room. The house is pitch black, but you traverse through the layout with no problems. As you enter the kitchen, you flip on the light, grab a cup, fill it with water, and take a sip. Time goes on and the glass is now empty. You set it down when the kitchen light turns off. The sound goes dead and the air goes cold as the hair on the back of your neck stands up. [[Turn back on the light.]]

You lean back down as the pillow swallows your head. Your eyes get heavy when something grabs your leg. You shake it off and try to ignore it by covering your head with the covers. The air condenses as you heavily breathe. [[Do you take a peek?]] or [[Keep your head covered.]]

You rush over to the light switch to flip it back on, but you can feel that it was never flipped off. As you stand there trying to figure out what to do, laughter fills the room. All the lights in the house flicker on and off until bulbs shatter all around you. [[Do you grab a piece of glass?]] or [[Do you run back towards the bedroom?]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

The covers slowly slide down your face, and you see nothing but darkness. The air grows cold and then nothing as if all air had been vacuumed out of existence. The lights flicker, and the tv goes to static as a quiet laughter fills your ears. Then everything stops as darkness fills your eyesight. What do you do? [[Run out of the room?]] [[Scream "Leave me alone!"]]

The air continues to get heavier and heavier as you breathe. The hair on your arms stands up as a light cold breeze passes over it. The covers are snatched off of you and thrown to the ground. You spring up and see a pair of dark red eyes staring back at you. The gaze upon it leaves you frozen, until a small chuckle comes from the eyes. <img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> What do you do? You bury your head in your pillow and begin to hear your heart beat. The beating gets louder and louder until a hand grabs your foot. What do you do? [[Run out of the room?]] or [[Ignore it.]]

<img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> You slowly move toward the floating red eyes, but they disappear before you get a finger length from them. You shrug your shoulders, lay back down, and fall back asleep. Morning comes and you wake up, to what felt like a crazy dream. All day you feel off because of this dream, but when nighttime comes back around, you sleep peacefully. You go the rest of your life never experiencing the dream with the floating red eyes again. You get out of bed and run out the bedroom door. The dark red eyes appear in front of you and reaches out with a hand. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> The hand grabs your neck and lifts you off the ground. The grip slowly gets tighter as you struggle to get free. [[Hit it.]]

Laughter fills the room as the red eyes get closer. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> A hand grabs your leg and pulls you out of the bed. You hit the back of your head on the floor. You rub the back of your head and look out of the bedroom door. What do you do? [[Run out of the room?]] or [[Fight back?]]

Your hand goes through the figure as a low maniacle laugh pierces your ears. Red consumes your sight, and then nothing. You fall to the ground, and a loud pop echoes through the house. Pain shoots into your right foot. [[Do you limp towards front door?]] or [[Do you limp to the kitchen?]]

You limp towards the door in a hurry, but stumble over the table falling to the ground. The red eyes appear again as laughter fills the room. You get back up and embrace the wall. The laughter stops and the eyes disappear. You fall against the door and grab the door knob, but it won't open. Laughter fills the air again much louder than ever before. Then, a dark menancing voice yells out, "You can never leave." What do you do? You limp towards the kitchen stumbling over a chair. Laughter fills the air as you fall to the ground, and the red eyes appear in front of you. You get up and make it to the kitchen. [[Do you turn on a light?]] or [[Do you go straight for the knife that you think is sitting on the counter?]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

You reach for the light switch but can't find it. Your body slides against the wall until it hits the switch. You flip it on but nothing happens. What do you do? [[Sit down for a moment.]] or [[Do you go to the bathroom to retrieve the flashlight?]]

You continue to mess with the door knob, but the door still won't open. The laughter continues, as you fail again and again. You slam your body against the door with hopes that you'd break it down, but instead you just found yourself on your ass. As you continue to try and kick the door down, the laughter faintly gets softer. The laughter eventually stops all together as a hand grabs the back of your head. It smashes your head against the door until your head caves in. [[->Title Page]]

You head straight toward the light switch on the wall. <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> The shadow man with red eyes appears in front of you, gives you a creepy smile, and disappears. You reach the light switch and flip it on, but nothing happens. What do you do? [[Run away.]] or [[Pick up the knife.]]

You stumble over to the counter, hitting your side on it knocking the breath out of you. Your hand searches around the counter trying to find the knife. A dark voice pierces your ears, "Looking for this?" You look over towards the voice to see the knife floating in the air. Then, the knife falls to the ground. What do you do? [[Pick up the knife.]] [[Run away.]]

You rush over to the knife that's laying on the ground. As you bend down to pick it up, the knife slides away, and laughter fills the air once again. [[Do you chase after the knife?]] or [[Do you screw the knife, and go turn on a light?]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

You run out of the kitchen, and head towards the front door. Laughter fills your ears, and as you look back to the kitchen, the knife floats after you. The laughter gets louder, and as you reach out for the front doorknob, a cold piercing penetrates your side. You turn around and see the red eyes right in front of you. The red eyes look down, and as you follow it's eyes, you see the knife sticking out of your side. A dark shadow hand grabs the knife and slides it up and down until blood gushes out. You fall to the ground and gasps for your last breath. [[Try Again->Title Page]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/Tense Music.mp3"></audio>

As you chase after the knife, it stops every couple of inches. You try picking it up, but it just keeps toying with you. As it approaches the stairway to the basement; the basement door opens by itself. The knife stops at the top of the staircase, and you bend over to pick it up. As soon as you pick up the knife, a strong force pushes you down the stairway. You land face first as the room fills with laughter. What do you do? [[Do you get up?]] or [[Do you play dead?]]

"Fuck this," you scream as you limp back towards the light switch in the kitchen. The red eyes appear in front of you as a sharp pinch floods your abdomen. You fall over onto a wall, and you flip on the kitchen light. Blood smears the wall, and you look down to see the knife sticking out of you. What do you do? [[Take the knife out?]] or [[Take a minute to catch your breath?]]

The knife slides out with ease as you pull on it, but blood gushes out at an alarming rate. You stand up, grab a towel off the counter, and put preasure on it. Glass shatters and falls to the floor, as the light goes out. The red eyes appear in front of you, and your feet lift off the ground. "You're mine now," the maniacle voice says. Your eyes begin to get heavy as your breathing shortens. Then there is nothing. [[Try Again->Title Page]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/Creepy Music.wav"></audio>

The floor hits against your ass in a thud, as you place pressure where the knife sticks out. You rest your head against the wall, and close your eyes. Then a loud voice fills the air and says, "Wake up!" [[Do you wake up?]] or [[Do rest some more?]]

Your eyes slowly open, as everything comes into focus. You force yourself up off the ground and look down at the knife still sticking out of you. Then letters appear in the puddle of blood that formed from where you once sat. It reads, "RUN." [[Do you run?]] or [[Do you take out the knife, and cartarize the wound?]]

You continue to rest as the maniacle voice taunts you. But, you just ignore it and keep your eyes closed. The air around you becomes hard to breathe as the voice begins to laugh. You see a bright light and everything goes silent. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You take off running, but your limp slows you down. Red eyes appear all around you, as something shoves you to the ground. You faceplant to the ground, as the knife penetrates even father into your body. Laughter fills the air, as warm thick blood surrounds your face. The laughter stops and the red eyes appear in front of you as the deep voice says, "You're mine forever, now." Then everything goes silent as you take your last breath. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You flip on an eye on the stove, grab another knife from out of the cabinet, and place it on the eye. The eye heats up, as the knife glows red. You grab a towel, put it inbetween your teeth, and bite down on it. Then you take your right hand, place it around the hilt of the knife, and slowly pull it out. Blood spews from where the knife once was, and you quickly grab the glowing knife from off the eye. You press it against the gushing hole, and pass out from the pain. What do you do when you come to? [[Head to the bathroom to get medicine?]] or [[Grab a drink of water?]]

Pain fills your body, as you limp your way to the bathroom. Darkness still surrounds you, but you push forward anyways. You make it to the bathroom, flip on the light, and grab ointment and bandaids from the medicine cabinet. The ointment is cold but soothing to the hot burn from where the knife once was. You place the bandaid over the ointment and look into the mirror. A dark shadow figure with dark red eyes appears behind you. <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> You turn around to look at it, but nothing is there. You turn back to look in the mirror, where the dark figure can still be seen. As the figure begins to smile, the lights go out. You try to turn them back on, but they're not coming back on. You go into the hallway and try to turn on the light, but it's not working either. You start heading towards the basement door, but as you go to open it you remember that there is a flashlight in the bathroom. [[Do you go to the bathroom to retrieve the flashlight?]] or [[Do you continue to the basement with no light?]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/Bathroom Door.wav"></audio>

You lean against the wall and slide down it till your ass hits the ground. The laughter returns and then stops as the deep voice says, "You already giving up?" You nod your head yes. The deep voice says, "I knew you were a pussy. Now, you will be mine forever." The red eyes appear in front of you, and then everything goes black as your body dissapears. You continue to hear laughter, and the deep voice torments you for the rest eternity. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You make your way down the stairs, but something grabs your leg. The dark figure with red eyes appear, and pulls you down the stairs. You lay on your back to catch your breath for a minute and then continue on to the breaker. You stumble over some boxes, but catch yourself on the wall. Laughter fills the basement, but you continue on. The laughter stops as you arrive at the breaker, and you open it up. You feel around for the right switch to flip. You finally find what you believe to be the right switch and flip it, but nothing happens. [[Do you continue to try and find the right switch?]]

You limp towards the bathroom, when the red eyes appear and throws you across the room. Laughter fills the air once again, but you muster up the strength to pull yourself up again; when a force hits your back and forces you back to the ground. "Stay down," the deep voice screams. But, you gather your bearings and stand back up. You look for the red eyes but they're nowhere in sight, and you start to make your way back to the bathroom. Once you've reached the bathroom, you open a cabinet and grab the flashlight. You turn it on and see some extra batteries in the cabinet also. [[Do you take the extra batteries?]] or [[Do you leave without them?]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

You quickly grab the extra batteries and place them in your pocket. The red eyes appear behind you in the mirror. Your head slams against the glass, as the deep voice yells, "Cheater!" A piece of glass floats in front of your neck. "This is what cheaters get," the deep voice says, as the sharp cold glass slides across your neck. Blood spews into the sink, and you quickly try to stop the bleeding by putting your hands over your neck. Your body gets light as a feather as blood continues to gush out of you, and you fall to the ground. You lay on the bathroom flow in a puddle of your own blood as you take your last breaths. As you close the cabinet door, the red eyes appear behind you in the mirror. You ignore them and quickly limp your way back to the basement door. As you open the door, you turn on the flashlight and head down the steps. <center><img src="Assets/Basement Stairs.jpeg"> </center> The steps creak and get louder with every step you take. Halfway down the stairs, you see the red eyes at the bottom of the staircase. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> Then the step under your feet gives in and you fall to the ground. You look around for your flashlight, but can't find it. As you look up to the hole, you just fell through you see the flashlight sitting on one of the steps. [[Do you continue you on to the breaker?]] or [[Do you go and retrieve your flashlight?]]

As you slowly stand up, you hear laughter echo throughout the basement. You limp your way to the breaker at the other end of the basement, seeing red eyes appear off and on the entire way there. The laughter never stops but just keeps getting louder. The laughter stops as you reach the breaker. You open it up and feel around for the on switches. Your hand lands on the switch you believe to be the right one. You flip it on, but nothing happens. [[Do you continue to try and find the right switch?]] or [[Do you go and retrieve your flashlight?]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/Atmosphere.wav"></audio>

You make your way to the bottom of the staircase, where you see the flashlight laying on the step before you fell. You walk up the staircase, and as you pick up the flashlight the batteries die. [[Do you go to the breaker?]] or [[Do you try and find another way out?]]

As you continue to flip switches the laughter returns. You finally reach the only switch left and flip it. A bolt of electricity purges its way through your body sending you flying backwards. You hit your head against the wall, which knocks you unconcious. When you come to you find yourself in another puddle of blood, but this time it's from your head. As you try to pick yourself back up, you go back unconcious. You continue to go in and out of conciousness, until you don't ever become concious again. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

As you make your way to the breaker, the deep voice says, "you should have taken those extra batteries." Laughter fills the basement again, but this time its more maniacle. When you reach the breaker you open it up and start to fill around for the right switch. When you finally find it, you flip it but nothing happens. [[Do you continue to try and find the right switch?]] or [[Do you try and find another way out?]]

You limp your way torwards a window and try to open it, but it wont budge. You look around for something to break it with, but can't find anything. The laughter returns and you start to panic. You take a few deep breaths and break the window with the flashlight. Glass shatters and falls to the ground. As you pull yourself up to climb through, something grabs your leg. The force pulls you back to the ground and pulls you away from the window. The deep voice says, "The game isn't over yet." [[Do you try to escape through the window again?]] or [[Do you wish to quit playing the game?]]

You squirm around until the force is off of you. You quickly stand up and limp back towards the window. The dark figure appears in front of you, but you just continue on. The figure pushes you back down over and over, but you keep trying to leave through the window. The dark figure with red eyes finally disappears, and you climb out the window. As you make your way to the car in the driveway, laughter explodes from the house, and the dark figure yells, "I'll see you soon." You crank up the car and drive away. "I'm tired of your stupid game," you scream out. The red eyes appear, stare you in the eyes, and move around you in a circle. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> The deep voice says, "Well, if you're done in this realm then we'll continue in my realm." The dark figure lifts you up and slams you on the ground, until your face is completly caved in. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You grab a cup from the cabinet and fill it up with water from the sink. After you finish your cup of water, the deep voice says, "I hope you're satisfied with that being your last drink." You ignore this and place your cup in the sink. The pain from where the knife once was is getting worst, so you decide to go get some medicine for it. [[Head to the bathroom to get medicine?]]

You stand up and look for the red eyes. When they appear, you take a swing at them, but your hand just goes through them. You swing again at them, but with time a hand grabs your arm. The grip gets tighter, as you try to free your arm. A loud crack fills the room as your arm snaps in half. You cry out in pain but is only met with laughter. A dark figure emerges and says, "I grow tired of this." A hand grabs your neck, lifts you up, and chokes you until you take your final breath. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

As you get back on your feet, the laughter stops and the basement door slams shut. You look around to see nothing but darkness, until the moonlight slightly beems through the window and bounces off the blade of the kitchen knife. [[Do you try to escape through the window?]]

You hold your breath and close your eyes as the laughter gets louder. The stairs creak as something walks down them, and then the room falls silent. [[Do you open your eyes?]] [[Do you get up?]]

As you bend over to pick up the knife, the shadow man with red eyes plunges it into your heart. The last thing you see are those dark red eyes. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You rush past the knife. As you reach the window, the red eyes appear on the other side. You stumble back as a hand grabs your shirt and lifts you off the ground. [[Do you stick your legs out?]] or [[Do you hit the hand?]]

As you open your eyes, the footsteps begin to walk again. They come to a stop, as the sound of metal can be heard scraping against the floor. You wait a few seconds to see what will happen next, but nothing happens. As you open your eyes to see what was walking, the red eyes appear right in front of you. Laughter fills the room once again, as something sharp pierces your chest. As everything fades to black, a white smile emerges under the dark red eyes. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You pull your legs up to your chest, and then push them out in front of you. The force scares off the red eyes, as you fall to the ground. Your ass thuds against the hard wood floor and knocks the air out of you. You sit there for a second trying to catch your breath when the red eyes appear in front of you. [[Do you run away?]] or [[Do you ignore the red eyes?]]

You kick your feet back and forth, while you try to hit the shadow man's hand. Your head hits the ceiling, just before the hand lets go. A crack sound echoes out into the room as you hit the ground. You grab your leg, which has the bone sticking out of it. Your screams fill the room as you try to push it back into place. The pain causes you to pass out. When you come to, you are sitting in the car in the drive way. [[Do you escape?]] or [[Do you go back to bed?]]

You stand up in a rush, which causes you to get a headrush. As you take a few steps, you stumble back to the ground. Everything goes dark and silent, but when you wake up, you are chained to the wall. Red fog covers the ground, and the dark shadow with red eyes are crystal clear. "Where am I?" you say. The dark shadow man doesn't respond. "Am I still alive?" The shadow man gives you a thumbs up as he approaches you with a knife. He runs his fingers against your torso, and plunges the knife into the spot his finger last was. The knife glides through you in the exact way the shadow man's fingers did. As the shadow man finished he placed the knife on a tray, and walk towards a mysterious black door. As he opens it, he says, "See you tomorrow." [[Try Again->Title Page]]

Your eyes wander around the room as you try to forget about the red eyes. "You can't ignore me," the red eyes yells. What do you do? [[Do you run away?]] or [[Confront the red eyes.]]

"I will not play your game anymore," you yell out to the darkness. A white smile appears, and the red eyes follow. You stand up and head towards the steps, but as your foot hits the first step, something grabs the back of your shirt. You try to resist as the red eyes drag you towards the closed window. When you reach the window, the shadow man with red eyes picks you up and throws you out of it. Glass shatters over your body as you quickly hit the ground. [[Do you wish to quit playing the game?]] or [[Pick out the glass?]]

You push yourself up and pick some of the glass from your face. The red eyes appear in front of the broken window. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> They start to move closer to you, but you stumble yourself away. You make your way up to the car when the shadow man with red eyes appear in the driveway. You rush to get into the car and crank it up. You back out of the driveway, stop, and watch the red eyes get closer before driving away. As you make it a few miles down the road, you hear laughter coming from the back seat. You look in the rear view mirror, only to see the shadow man with red eyes. As you panic, the car swerves and crashes into a tree. Your body goes flying out of the front windshield, and you slowly bleed out while the shadow man laughs. [[Try Again->Start]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

Why would you go back to bed when a demon is chasing you? Are you stupid? You wouldn't have made it this far if you were, so I'll give you another chance to make the right decision. [[Do you escape?]] or [[Do you continue to piss the creator off?]]

I see how it is! Alright, then have fun starting over. [[Try Again, Asshole->Start]]

You keep your head burried in your pillow, when the covers get snatched off of you. A cold hand touches your foot, and you scream in the pillow. The air thickens, as you become light headed. You eventually suffocate yourself in your own pillow. [[Try Again->Title Page]]

You bend down to pick up a piece of glass. The sharp edge slices into your hand as you grip onto it. As you lean back up, your eyes scan the room for movement, but everything is still. You sigh as you close your eyes, but when you open them, a dark shadow with dark red eyes stands in front of you. [[Do you stab the shadow with the piece of glass?]] or [[Do you stare into the eyes?]]

You take off in a rush, ignoring the glass penetrating the bottom of your feet. A loud menancing voice surrounds you as the dark shadow yells, "Run Forest Run!" As you approach the bedroom door, it slams shut. You hit it face first and fall on your ass. The blood from your feet soaks through your pajama shorts. [[Remove the glass from your feet?]]

You lunge the glass at the dark shadow with red eyes, but you just fall through it. You fall face first onto the floor, as laughter fills the room. "You can't hurt me... bitch," the dark shadow yells. It walks over to you and grabs the back of your head by your hair. "But, I can hurt you." It slams your head against the floor. You try to wiggle free, but it has you over powered. "How do you like that?" the dark figure asks, as it continues to slam your head against the floor until your face caves in. [[Try Again->Start]]

The dark shadow with red eyes slowly gets closer to you until only red consumes your vision. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> You continue to stare motionless until they move away from you. "Are you not scared of me?" the dark shadow asks. Do you shake your head? [[Yes.]] or [[No.]]

You reach out, grab your right foot, and pull it towards you. Screams fill the air as you pull out the first piece of glass. You throw it on the ground and begin pulling out the next piece. Just as you pull out the second piece of glass, a hand grabs yours and shoves it back into your foot. You scream out in pain as laughter drowns you out. Then the red eyes appear and says, "You didn't really think it would be that easy did you?" <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> [[Do you shake your head yes?]] or [[Do you shake your head no?]]

Your head bobs up and down, as the red eyes form the dark shadow. <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> "Foolish human, my game is never that easy," the dark shadow says. The dark shadow begins to laugh as it move towards you. You frantically move backwards, but the dark shadow reaches you before you can get away. It picks you up by the neck and transports you both back to it's realm. As laughter fills the air, the dark shadow says, "You will forever be stuck playing my game." Your head swings left and right as if it were on a pendulum. The dark shadow with red eyes dissapear as you continue to sit in your own blood. You frantically look around for the red eyes, but darkness is all that you see. [[Continue to pick the glass out of your feet.]]

Glass keeps falling to the ground as you continue to pick it out of your feet. Laughter fills the air once more as you pull out the final piece of glass and put it in your pocket. As you stand up, you begin to lose your balance causing you to fall. You fall against the door; which sends it flying off the hinges. As you lay on top of the door, the laughter becomes more hysterical. You slide off the door and limp your way back to the bed. As your ass hits the mattress, you take a deep sigh. "Good then," the dark shadow says. "Then you better start running." You take off in a hurry, and the dark shadow begins laughing again. Your hands quickly cover your ears to drown out the laughter, but it doesn't help. The laughter stops as the lights comes back on, and the front door slowly opens. The dark shadow picks you up by the neck and slams you against the wall. It's red eyes pierces your soul, as it says, "you will be." It reaches out it's left hand, opens the front door, and throws you towards it. You fly out the front door, but instead of landing on the grassy lawn, you land in a metal cage. You look around only to see a medevil torture device, and a man chained to it. As you signal to the guy chained to the device, you realize it's your father. The device turns on, and the dark shadow man with red eyes appears next to it. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> "You will spend the rest of eternity watching me torture your father!" the dark shadow says, as it laughs. As you stand staring out the open front door, the laughter starts. You quickly grab the piece of glass out of your pocket and stare at it in the light. The size of it surprises you now that you can see just how small it really is. [[Search around the house for a weapon.]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

You scurry around the house looking for some type of weapon. The living room is the first place that you look, but only find a tv remote. Next, you go into the bathroom and look in the medicine cabinet. Inside the medicine cabinet, you find a bottle of Holy water. As you stare at the bottle, it reminds you of when Garry gave it to you. You stand in the bathroom starring at the tv remote and Holy water. Which do you take? [[TV remote.]] [[Holy water.]]

You close the medicine cabbinet, leaving the Holy water behind. As you exit the bathroom with the tv remote, you are met face to eyes with the red eyes. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> You swing the remote at them, but it just goes through them. Panicked by this, you run down the basement stairs. As you reach the bottom of the stairs, the basement door slams shut. You take a deep breath and look around the room. "It's not going to be that easy," the dark shadow says. The lights go out and laughter fills the air. You go over to the light switch to turn on the light but nothing happens. You keep trying this until a beam of light shines through a window. [[Go towards the window?]]

You throw the remote on the floor and grab the Holy water from the medicine cabbinet. As you turn to the doorway, the red eyes appear. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> "Do you really think some water is going to vanquish me?" the shadow asks. What do you do? [[Run away?]] or [[Throw the Holy water at the entity?]]

You hurriedly limp out of the bathroom, and back into the living room. You look for a place to hide but come up empty. The dark shadow follows you and says, "this is only going to end one way." You look at it for a second and then at the vile of Holy water. As the shadow approaches, you throw the Holy water at it, but nothing happens. "Fool, I'm above some silly Holy water!" the dark shadow yells. You look around for a way out but come up empty. The dark shadow grabs you and drags you toward the basement stairway. You throw Holy water at it but still nothing happens. The dark shadow throws you down the staircase, which causes you to break your neck on impact. "Well, on to the next contestant," the dark shadow says. [[Try Again->Start]]

You sling some of the Holy water at the red eyes but nothing happens. The air fills with laughter as you stand there stunned and a little confused. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> The red eyes move closer to you as you continue to sling the water. A dark shadow hand emerges from the darkness and grabs you by the neck. Your feet leave the ground, but you don't stop slinging the water. You slide back into bed, cover yourself up, and close your eyes. As you drift into the void of sleep, laughter rings in your ears. Your dreams are made up of nothing but the dark shadow with red eyes. Once you die in your dream, you awaken, but you're not in your bed. You realize you are in a void that illuminates red. "Welcome to my home," the dark shadow says. "Now, our game can last forever!" You slap yourself in an attempt to wake up from this nightmare but nothing happens. You slowly get up from the bed and limp your way back out of the bedroom, but not before you put on your slippers. As you make your way to the living room, the lights come back on. You limp your way to the front door and try to open it. It doesn't budge, so you turn towards the basement door. As you walk away from the front door, it creaks open. [[Do you go through the front door?]] or [[Do you go to the basement?]]

You limp your way to the opened front door. Just as you go to exit the house, the door slams shut, and the dark shadow begins to laugh. You look around to see the red eyes, but there is nothing but darkness. What do you do? [[Search around the house for a weapon.]]

You ignore the sound of the front door opening and continue to the basement stairway. As you open the door to the basement, the front door slams shut. Laughter slowly emerges, as the dark shadow says, "Smart choice." You limp your way down the basement stairs, and just as you reach the last step, you lose your footing. As your ass hits the last stair, the motion sends your head flying backwards hitting the back of it on a stair. You sit there for a moment trying to pull yourself together, but the red eyes appear in front of your. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> "Are you ready to give up?" the dark shadow asks. "As you wish," the dark shadow says. The shadow leans over you and places it's hand on your forehead. You are transported to another void that bleeds red. The walls are smeered in blood, and the floors are littered with skeletons. "Welcome to your hell!" the dark shadow yells. [[Try Again->Start]]

"As you wish," the dark shadow says. The red eyes disappear, and a light-headed feeling washes over you as you get up. You move your hand to the back of your head and feel blood gushing out. What do you do? [[Remove your shirt and tie it around your head?]] or [[Continue to find a way out?]]

You slowly take your shirt off wincing in pain as it slides over the back of your head. You throw the shirt over your head and tie it in the back until the pressure becomes too much. "Clever boy," the dark shadow says. You scan the room for a way out but see nothing. As you head towards the light switch, a beam of light shines through a small window. You slowly make your way to the window and try to open it. You tug and tug, but the damn thing won't open. What do you do? [[Find something to break it with?]] or [[Dolphin dive through it?]]

You slowly inch your way to the light switch, but nothing happens when you flip it. As you leave the switch, you make sure that it's flipped up and make your way to the breaker. "You're never going to make it," the dark shadow says, as it laughs. You continue to make your way to the breaker, but once you reach it nothing happens when you flip it. "Did you really think it would be that easy?" [[No I planned for this!]] or [[I did think it would be this easy.]] <audio autoplay> <source src="Assets/possessed laugh.wav"></audio>

You make your way back to the staircase, and look around the room for a way out. A single window stumbles into your eyesight, and you slowly limp your way to it. You undo the latch and open it up. Just as you start to climb through it, something grabs ahold of your shirt and pulls you back inside. "This isn't over, until I say that it's over!" the dark shadow yells. It picks you up and slams you against the ceiling. Then, it drops you onto the floor face first. You lay there on the cold floor as blood surrounds your head. Slowly, you fade in and out of conciousness until you are just out. "Now, it's over," the dark shadow says, as it begins to laugh. You lay down on the basement floor, while the dark shadow taunts you. As you lay there bleeding out you begin to look back at your life. You remember what it was like to be a kid and go on fun adventures in the woods. You think about your first crush Mary and how she was your first kiss. Then, you think about your FIRST TIME and how fast it was over. As you begin to see a bright light, you think about how Julia convinced you to contact your dead father earlier tonight. Then your mind goes blank, and you wake up in a cage where you see your father chained up. The dark shadow with red eyes walks up to the cage and says, "It's time for the family reunion." <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> [[Try Again->Start]]

You look around the basement and see a hammer laying on a desk. You limp your way over to it as fast as you can, and grab it. As you make your way back to the window, the red eyes appear. "Where do you think your going?" the dark shadow asks. You ignore it, and continue to make your way back to the window. The shadow reaches out and pushes you. You fall to the ground, but you manage to pick yourself back up. "Fine then," the dark shadow yells, as it snatches the hammer from you. It bashes your left leg causing the bone to snap. You fall to the ground crying out in pain. What do you do? [[Catch your breath?]] or [[Push Onwards?]]

You limp a few steps back and begin to limp run towards the window. Just as you reach it, you jump head first. Glass penetrates your front side as you crash through the window. You land face first onto the dewy grass that soon gets drenched in blood. The red eyes appears in front of you as you try to get up. "What an idiot," the dark shadow says, while laughing. "I have no time for those." The dark shadow with red eyes disappear, never to be seen again. You continue to try to get up until you bleed out. You sit on the ground while holding your broken leg. The dark shadow asks, "Do you give up?" You quickly shake your head up and down. "It's about damn time," the dark shadow says. The dark shadow with red eyes emerges but this time in the form of a human. <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> It walks over to you and places it's hands upon your head. "Thank you for my new body," the dark shadow says, as it emerges into you. [[Try Again->Start]]

You try to stand back up, but quickly fall back to the ground. The dark shadow starts to laugh, but you ignore it and grab the hammer back. You crawl your way to the window and reach up to break the glass with the hammer. Glass shatters to the floor, and you pull yourself up and over the window seal. You fall to the dewy grass, and continue to crawl towards the front of the house. "Oh, no you don't," the dark shadow says as it grabs your leg. It begins to pull you back towards the window, but you somehow manage to wiggle free. You increase the speed that your crawling, until you reach the car in the driveway. You open up the door and pull yourself up into the driver's seat. You grab the keys from under the sunvisor, and crank up the car. [[Do you escape?]] or [[Do you go back to bed?]]

You limp your way over to the window, unlatch it, and try to open it. You struggle with opening the window. You stop and think for a second, but the red eyes appear. They stare at you, but you ignore them as you pull out the tv remote. You smash the window with the tv remote, and glass penetrates your skin as you climb through the window, but you are to focused on escaping to notice. "Where do you think your going," the dark shadow says as it grabs the back of your shirt. [[Take off your shirt.]]

The dark shadow tries to pull you back through the window, but you quickly take off your shirt. You limp towards the front yard. How do you escape? [[By car?]] or [[On foot?]]

You limp towards the road, but the dark shadow with red eyes appears in front of the road. <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> You try to go around, but it just keeps appearing in front of you. The dark shadow starts to laugh as it lunges towards you. It knocks you to the ground, and grabs you by the hair. "You can't leave," the dark shadow says. It drags you back towards the front door of the house. You struggle in hopes of getting away, but it only tightens it's grip. As it pulls you through the front door, you are transported to a red lighted hallway. It continues to drag you until it throws you into a cage. As you limp towards the car the dark shadow lunges towards you. You quickly get into the car and crank it. The dark shadow with red eyes stands behind the car, but you throw it in reverse and back up. <center><img src="Assets/Shadow Man.jpeg"> </center> The dark shadow dissapears, and you turn on the road. You throw the car in drive and haul ass away from the house. As you drive down the road, you look in the rearview mirror and see the red eyes. <center><img src="Assets/RedEyes.jpeg"> </center> You slam on breaks and turn around, but you just see an empty seat.
